Traffic court preparation

Your summons photo. A draft you can review.

Use NinetySix on the web or iPhone to turn information from a summons photo, together with the stop details you provide, into an editable testimony draft. Keep your observations separate from extracted information, check the wording, and save the reviewed work for later preparation.

Less administrative work. More confidence.

01

Start with the information you have

Extract available summons details instead of repeatedly typing the same information. Review dates, times, locations, vehicle details and the cited violation against the original record.

02

Keep the officer in control

Provide only applicable stop details and observations you actually recorded. A draft is a starting point to correct and edit, not a substitute for your recollection or judgment.

03

Return to your reviewed work

Keep the saved summons information and its draft together. Reopen, edit and export your preparation rather than starting again for every court date.

Get it done in three steps.

  1. 1

Upload a clear summons photo and review the extracted information.

  2. 2

Enter applicable Stop Details and your own observations, then review and edit the draft.

  3. 3

Save the reviewed entry, return to it before court, and export when needed.

What comes from the photo—and what must come from you.

A summons photo can provide information written on that summons. It cannot establish everything that happened during a stop. Check the extracted fields for missing or misread text, and supply your own applicable Stop Details, observations and notes.

Do not add an observation because it sounds plausible or because a draft suggests it. Remove unsupported wording and correct inaccuracies. Verify the final text against your original records and what you personally observed before using it as a preparation reference.

NinetySix creates editable drafts. It does not certify a statement, establish that an offense occurred, replace official evidence, or file material with a court.

A saved draft is not a photo archive.

Uploaded summons images are used for processing and are not retained after processing. Saved Testimony Drafts keep the related structured summons information, entered stop details, observations, notes and draft together in your account.

Maintain the original records through your department’s approved procedures. Before a court appearance, reopen the saved entry, review changes or omissions, edit the draft and export the preparation you need. An export does not submit anything to a court or satisfy a records-retention requirement.

Prepare on the web or your iPhone.

Use a compatible browser when you want to review and edit on a larger screen, or open the NinetySix iPhone app when that suits your workflow. The same account connects your saved preparation. Feature access and generation limits depend on your selected plan.

When an appearance approaches, use Traffic Court Calendar to organize the scheduled cases and return to your saved work. Confirm dates, attendance requirements and any changes through official court and department channels.
