Start with your existing summons and records

Bring the summons and your contemporaneous notes together before drafting. Check the date, time, location, summons number, and vehicle details against the original record. NinetySix uses an existing summons to help create a testimony draft; it does not issue or prepare the summons itself.

Keep your observations central

Review every captured field. Add the observations you actually recorded, and distinguish those observations from reference information. Roadway information should describe the correct intersection and be verified for the relevant location. Do not adopt a lane count, direction, signal sequence, or other detail merely because it appears in a sample or generated draft.

Organize the upcoming court day

Open Traffic Court Calendar to scan an officer-provided notification or enter a date manually. Review the date and scheduled summons numbers before saving. The Calendar connects scheduled cases to your Saved Summonses and testimony drafts, showing which cases have a draft and which still need preparation. A Ready label indicates a linked draft, not legal sufficiency or a guaranteed court outcome.

Review, save, and return

Keep the approved draft with its summons so you can return to it before court. Check it again against your observations and applicable procedures. Court schedules can change; use the current notification rather than assuming everyone on a schedule will appear.
